It is a remake of Malayalam drama Ayyappanum Koshiyum helmed by Sachy. Now according to the traders report, Bheemla Nayak has crossed the $2.4 Million mark in the USA and the next target is $2.5 Million. Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer minted $20,987 from 165 locations on 2nd Sunday and total gross is $2,400,408.

The action drama also has Samuyktha Menon and Nithya Menen as the leading ladies The screenplay is written by Trivikram Srinivas the director of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and it is funded by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and the music is by Butta Bomma fame Thaman.
Murali Sharma and Samuthirakani are playing the important roles. On the otherside, Pawan Kalyan is also working with Krish for a film Hari Hara Veera Mallu which has Nidhhi Agerwal as the leading lady.
