Bollywood director Anees Bazmee’ upcoming Hindi project Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is slated to be released on 25th March, 2022, but he is unsure whether the movie will manage to release on its scheduled date, as there’s a massive spike in COVID-19 cases in India, and many states have shut down theaters. Recently during the media interaction, Anees Bazmee made sensational comments on Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
Anees Bazmee talked about the filmmakers who had to postpone their film releases, he said “Look at the movies like RRR and Jersey, they did so many promotions, if you look at it, it’s like a waste of money. They will have to do this all over again when they plan to release the film. This is a big loss overall.
The people will lose curiosity around the movie if promotions are done again and again. It is very difficult to create the magic around the movie again and again. We are running in the losses. It was already difficult to recover our money with 50 percent occupancy in theatres.”
It is known that RRR was slated to hit the theaters on 7th January but the release has been postponed, The announcement regarding the new release date will be made very soon.
