Dhanush is one of the top actors of Indian film Industry. He had signed a straight Telugu film which will be helmed by Venky Atluri of Rang De and Tholi Prema fame and bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas. Tamil star Dhanush shared the motion poster of the film, which is set in a junior college.
Now according to the latest update, the first Telugu movie of Dhanush is titled Sir. Meanwhile, the film is titled, Vaathi in Tamil. The movie will focus on the education system in our country. Malayalam actress, Samyuktha Menon has been roped in Sir to play the love interest of Dhanush.
Apart from the lead pair, the film Sir also has Sai Kumar and Tanikella Bharani in key roles. The upcoming film will go on the floors from January 2022.
A movie with his director-brother Selvaraghavans next Naane Varuven too is in the pipeline. Meanwhile Dhanush is awaiting the release of his Hindi movie Atrangi Re which also has Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. The Aanand L Rai directorial venture will premiere at Disney+ Hotstar on 24th December. He also has Hollywood flick The Gray Man in his kitty.
