Venkatesh Daggubati started his career in the Telugu film industry with the movie Kaliyuga Pandavulu, which was released in 1986, for which the actor won his first Nandi Award for Best Made debut. The movie that marked the debut of Khushboo in the South film industry was a hit at the box office.
Venkatesh was last seen playing the lead role in action and revenge drama Narappa which was a remake of Tamil blockbuster movie Asuran. If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, Venkatesh is going to collaborate with KV Anudeep for his next project, who is known for helming comedy caper Jathi Ratnalu.
The movie Jathi Ratnalu starring Naveen Polishetty, Rahul Rama Krishna and Priyadarshi in the lead roles, was a blockbuster at the box office. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that KV Anudeep would team up with Kollywood hero Siva Karthikeyan for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film but nothing is confirmed yet. The sources say that KV Anudeep is now planning to direct a film in which Venkatesh Daggubati will play the lead role.
Apparently, the discussions are going on with Venkatesh. If Venky Mama gives his green signal, the official announcement regarding this project will be made soon. A top production house will bankroll the project. Currently, Venkatesh is busy with the shoot of Anil Ravipudi’ directorial venture F3.
