It is known that after a long gap, Amala Akkineni is making her comeback in acting with an upcoming film Oke Oka Jeevitham in Telugu starring Sharwanand. The movie Oke Oka Jeevitham has been titled Kanam in Tamil. The movie Kanam marks comeback of Amala Akkineni in Kollywood after 30 years. Amala was last seen in Manam and Karwaan in Tollywood and Bollywood respectively.
It is a bilingual film which is being made in Telugu-Tamil, is helmed by Shree Karthick and bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures. Kanam has tuck Jagadish fame Ritu Varma as the female lead and Amala Akkineni is essaying the role of Sharwanand’ mother. According to the latest reports, the upcoming film Kanam delves into the mother-son relationship.
The Telugu version of the film has Vennela Kishore and Priyadarshi in the supporting roles, which are played by Sathish and Ramesh Thilak respectively.
The makers of Kanam have already wrapped up the entire shoot and is planning to release it soon. The dialogues of the film are written by Tharun Bhascker Dhassyam, while music is composed by Jakes Bejoy.
Sharwanand, who shot to fame in Tamil film Industry with Engeyum Eppodhum, is waiting for the release of Maha Samudram, which will hit the screens on 14th October.
