Martin Prakkat’ directorial venture, the Malayalam film Nayattu starring Kunchacko Boban, Joju George, and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles, which was released in theatres in this April, is going to be remade in three Indian languages- Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the movie could not perform well at the box office.
Martin Prakkat has officially confirmed that the Telugu remake rights of Malayalam film Nayattu, are acquired by Stylish Star Allu Arjun. Bunny’ home production Geetha Arts acquired the remake rights. Now the producers are in the hunt of a suitable director for this remake. The official announcement regarding Nayattu Telugu remake will be out soon.
Martin Prakkat revealed that actor and producer John Abraham has grabbed the Hindi rights of the film. This is the second Malayalam film, the rights of which have been bought by B town actor John Abraham under the banner of his production house JA Entertainment. He had earlier acquired the rights of the film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. Whereas, its Tamil remake will be helmed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
On the otherside, currently Allu Arjun is sharing the screen space with Rashmika Mandanna in Pushpa which is being helmed by Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame.
