Yesterday on the occasion of Suriya’ birthday, the title and first look poster of the tentatively titled movie ‘Suriya 39’ was released. Suriya starrer film has been titled Jai Bhim and coming on its first look poster, he is seen as a lawyer who fights for the rights of tribal community.
Jai Bhim is written and directed by journalist turned filmmaker TJ Gnanavel of Kootathil Oruthan fame, and the movie also has Rajisha Vijayan who is playing the love interest of Suriya.
The first look poster gives a hint that the upcoming film Jai Bhim is going to be socially conscious and politically relevant. The movie is bankrolled by Rajsekar Pandian under the banner of 2D Entertainment in which Prakash Raj is playing the crucial role. SR Kathir is handling the cinematography and Philomin Raj is the editor. Kadhirr is on board as the art director, action-choreographer duo Anbariv are choreographing the stunt sequences in the film.
On Thursday, the title of Suriya’s 40th film was revealed along with a teaser. Etharkkum Thunindhavan is written and directed by Pandiraj and it has Gang Leader fame Priyanka Arul Mohan in the female lead and Sathyaraj in the crucial role.
On the other side, Suriya is also waiting for the release of Netflix Navarasa.
