Sumanth is the eldest grandson of late Akkineni Nageswara Rao– ANR, and he is best known for acting in the films, Godavari, Madhumasam, Satyam, Gowri, Golconda High School, Malli Raava and Subrahmanyapuram.
Now Sumanth seems to be in the mood for a major makeover. Recently Sumanth took to his microblogging page and shared the first look from one of his upcoming projects in which he will be seen playing the role of a rowdy.
This is the first time, Sumanth is going to play a rowdy character in a film. Coming on the poster, Sumanth has sported short hair and a rugged look. He is giving shock to his fans with his brand new loo. Though the actor did not reveal much about his role but it seems he is trying something different in his filmy career.
On the work front, Sumanth will be seen in Kapatadhaari which is directed by Pradeep Krishnamurthy. It is the remake of a Kannada film Kavaludaari, which was praised for its storytelling. Kavaludaari is a neo noir thriller film directed by Hemanth M Rao presented by Puneeth Rajkumar and bankrolled by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar of PRK Productions. The movie also has Achyuta Kumar, Anant Nag, Rishi, Suman Ranganathan, Roshni Prakash and Sidhaartha Maadhyamika.
