Narthanasala, the unfinished mythological film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, late actress Soundarya, late Srihari and others, is in the news once again. Narthanasala which was a dream project of Balakrishna, announced in 2004 and later it was shelvedbecause of the sudden demise of Soundarya in an aircraft crash.
Narthanasala, which is based on a chapter of the epic Mahabharata, is helmed by Balakrishna, who is also essaying the role of Arjuna. Today morning the makers of Narthanasala took to twitter to unveil Sri Hari’ look from the film who is playing Bheema.
Soundarya will be seen as Draupadi, Sri Hari will be seen as Bheema and Sarath Babu will be seen in the role of Dharmaraju in Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Narthanasala. Sai Kumar will be seen as Duryodhanudu, late Uday Kiran as Abhimanyudu, Kota Srinivasa Rao as Virata Raju, veteran director K Viswanath in a crucial role. Late Veturi Sundararama Murthy was the lyric writer whereas late VSR Swamy was the cinematographer of this film.
Balakrishna’ previous offering was Ruler, directed by K S Ravi Kumar, produced by C Kalyan. The action drama Ruler performed poorly at the box office, and Balakrishna is now looking to score a big hit with his next film #BB3, which is being helmed by Boyapati Srinu.
