Malayalam actress Miya George, who is popular for acting in Tamil movies like Indru Netru Naalai, Oru Naal Koothu, Amara Kaaviyam, and in Telugu movie Ungarala Rambabu, was engaged recently, and now she is married. She tied the knot with Ashwin Philip on 12th September at St Mary’s Basilica in Kochi. The wedding of Mia George and Ashwin Philip is said to have been performed by following the COVID-19 lockdown protocols and only few friends and family members attended the wedding. The wedding function of Mia, started around 2.30 pm, was solemnised by Cardinal Mar George Alencherry.
On the occasion of her wedding Mia George, was dressed in a high-neck sequined gown in white shade whereas the bridegroom Ashwin Philip wore a suit. The marriage ceremony was attended by 20 people, who were all family members and close friends. The wedding invitation was extended to only a handful of close friends.
The ‘madhuramveppu’ ceremony was also held, and on this occasion, Miya George wore a traditional Kerala saree and a palakka mala motif inspired blouse. There was also a bridal shower for the actress few days ago, which was a surprise for Miya George from her friends.
Ungarala Rambabu actress Miya George got officially engaged to Ashwin on 25th August at St Thomas Cathedral, Pala in a low-key ceremony.
