After young bowler Yuzvendra Chahal, Young Indian all-rounder Vijay Shankar has announced his engagement with Tamil Nadu based Vaisali Visweswaran on Instagram on 20th August. Vijay Shankar took to his microblogging page and uploaded a couple of adorable photographs and captioned the post with a ring emoji. Thereafter, the Tamil Nadu born cricketer was showered with wishes from every nook and corner of the country. Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal and KL Rahul wished Vijay on the auspicious occasion.
Vijay Shankar is all set to fly to UAE for IPL 2020. He will play for the SunRisers Hyderabad in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The SunRisers Hyderabad squad is set to fly out to the United Arab Emirates over the weekend ahead of the 13th edition of the cash-rich league.
Vijay Shankar made his debut for India back in the month of March 2018 and has strained a wee bit, In the T20 tri-nation series two years ago in Sri Lanka, he couldn’t step up. He made his comeback in the year 2019, making his ODI debut versus Australia and he was a part of the New Zealand tour also.
Vijay’ father H Shankar was a former club cricketer. Vijay started out as a batsman who bowled off-spin.
