Young Tamil director Ajay Gnanamuthu, who is currently busy in his upcoming directorial venture Cobra featuring Chiyaan Vikam, has floored everyone with his gesture. The director Ajay Gnanamuthu, keeping in mind the current Coronavirus situation, has slashed his remuneration by 40 percent for upcoming Tamil action thriller movie Cobra. Apparently, he has slashed his remuneration by 40 percent which is equal about Rs 1.50 Cr.
Ajay Gnanamuthu is determined to not burden his producer Lalit Kumar in these hard times due to coronavirus.
Ajay Gnanamuthu is a former Associate Director in AR Murugadoss’ direction team, made his debut with the horror thriller, Demonte Colony. He came in lime light after delivering his directorial venture Imaikka Nodigal in which lady superstar Nayantara played the lead role. Vikram starrer Cobra is his third directorial venture. Cobra also features KGF girl Srinidhi Shetty and Mirnalini Ravi as the female leads. Former Indian cricket star Irrfan Pathan is playing the role of antagonist whereas the film has the music by AR Rahman.
Cobra is being bankrolled by 7 Screen Studio in association with Viacom 18 Studios, the movie went on the floors in August 2019 and the makers are hoping to release this much hyped movie this year. Cobra is a Pan-Indian project which will be released in the Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
