It is known news that after delivering blockbuster multistarrer Venky Mama, Venkatesh Daggubati made an official announcement regarding his next movie Narappa, which is a remake of Tamil movie Asuran starring Dhanush and Manju Warrier. Priyamani is reprising Manju Warrier’ role from the original. And the movie Narappa is being helmed by Srikantha Addala. Set against the backdrop of the rustic Rayalaseema region, the action-drama Narappa will showcase Venkatesh in two drastic avatars. Talented young actor Karthik Rathnam, who impressed everyone with his performances in Care of Kancharapalem and Zee5 series Gods of Dharmapuri, has been roped in Venkatesh starrer Narappa.
Karthik Rathnam is essaying the role of Venkatesh’ elder son Muni Kanna. Today on the occasion of Karthik Rathnam’ birthday, the makers of Narappa unveiled the first look poster of Venkatesh elder son Muni Kanna.
The reports are coming that the makers are planning to unveil the first look poster of Venkatesh’ younger son from the movie soon, which is being bankrolled jointly by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu.
Earlier during an interview, Venkatesh admitted that remake films constitute 99 per cent of his success and stated that Asuran is the right film for him after F2 and Venky Mama.
