Lakshmi Manchu, the actress, producer and television presenter known for her works in Telugu cinema and American television. She is one of the versatile actresses working in the Telugu film industry. It has been nearly two years since Lakshmi Manchu’s previous film, W/o Ram, released. Since then, Manchu Lakshmi has neither made an official announcement regarding her upcoming film or her production venture. Recently during the media interaction, Lakshmi Manchu revealed the reason why she is not signing news movies these days.
Lakshmi Manchu said that she did not get any performance-oriented roles since the release of W/o Ram. The actress also revealed that she is waiting for characters that suit her image. On the other hand, she has been using her lockdown time productively.
Lakshmi Manchu is planning to pick up interesting roles. Her murder mystery film Wife of Ram, directed by debutant filmmaker Vijay Yelakanti was a decent hit at the box office. Currently she is waiting for an interesting script.
Earlier during an interview, she had said, “One of the reasons I have become choosy in terms of signing films is because spotting the filmmaker with conviction has become tough. Finding the right director has also been challenging.”
