Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Rana Daggubati have been approached to play the lead roles in the Telugu movie, which is remake of Malayalam film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum and will be bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments. The official announcement regarding Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake will be made in the month of August. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Sudheer Varma has been roped to helm Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake of Rana Daggubati and Ravi Teja.
Earlier, the production house Sithara Entertainment initiated talks with Nandamuri Balakrishna for the same role. However, things didn’t workout due to date issues and the makers roped Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. Rana Daggubati will reprise Prithviraj’s role from the original. The Major portions of the remake are likely to be shot in Ooty and Kodaikanal where Ayyapanum Koshiyum was also filmed.
Sudheer Varma worked with the production house Sithara Entertainment for the sensational movie Ranarangam in which the young actor Sharwanand played the lead role but unfortunately the movie ended up as a flop. But the makers are quite confident that Sudheer Varma can handle this emotional entertainer. A team of writers are working for the script of this remake and are making changes according to the taste of Telugu audience.
