Young hero Akhil Akkineni has gone the devotional route in this lockdown. According to the latest update, Akhil Akkineni has taken up Ayyappa Deeksha recently. This makes Akhil the first hero to take the Deeksha in the Akkineni family which is usually not known to be very devotional.
Akhil Akkineni, the young son of King Nagarjuna, has turned devotional and made it into the news by wearing Ayyappa Mala. He is using the Lockdown Break for his Self-Realization. He took the Ayyappa Deeksha and went around in the traditional black clothes.
While Akhil’s grandfather ANR was an atheist, his father Nagarjuna, who is a firm believer in God but never donned the Ayyappa Deeksha. Though he is popular for following the strict diet during the making of devotional movies such as Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu
Akhil who scored only disasters till now is yet to taste his in his film career. Currently, he is working with Bommarillu Bhaskar for the upcoming romantic movie ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’, in which he is sharing the screen space with Pooja Hegde. The shooting of Akhil’s film will resume soon. Buzz is that the film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ deals with the institution of marriage and how Akhil, who comes from the US to India in search of a bride with big dreams, understands that marriage is a big responsibility.
