Venkatesh Daggubati starrer ‘Narappa’, directed by Srikanth Addala is one of the much awaited movie of Tollywood. Narappa is the remake of Dhanush and Manju Warrier starrer revenge drama Asuran. The shoot of Venkatesh’ film Narappa, has been happening nonstop since the day of its launch but now Suresh Babu has decided to halt the shoot as the coronavirus positive cases in India are increasing. The shoot of Narappa was taking place in Anantapur area of Andhra Pradesh has been suspended now.
Suresh Productions took to twitter and revealed that it was the longest shoot schedule in the history of Suresh Productions and now the shoot of Narappa has been paused due to the threat of Covid-19.
Initially the producer Suresh Babu was against stalling the shootings as he feels that daily wage earners dependent on shooting but finally he decided to halt the shoot of Narappa due to COVID-19.
As Narappa happens in the Anantapur area of Andhra Pradesh, the film unit has planned 50 days long shoot schedule as they wanted to wrap up 80 percent of the movie. But due to Corona outbreak Suresh Babu called off the shooting two days after. The reports are coming that it was Venkatesh who requested Suresh Babu to halt the shoot.
