Nandamuri Balakrishna is getting ready to start the shoot  of his next upcoming action drama which will be helmed by none other than Boyapati Srinu. We have already reported that upcoming untitled film will have two actresses. Boyapati Srinu is planning to rope Catherine Tresa to play one of the female leads.  Now  the role of Catherine Tresa in  Balakrishna starrer film has been revealed. The sources say that Catherine Tresa, who is also the part of Vijay Deverakonda (VD) starrer World Famous Lover, will be seen playing the role of IAS officer in Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ project.

Everyone is eagerly waiting for Balakrishna’ upcoming untitled film under director Boyapati Srinu, especially since the actor-director’s earlier two films were hits.

Meanwhile, the director is still trying to finalise the cast, and has reportedly approached Catherine Tresa to be one of the leading ladies in the action entertainer of Balakrishna starrer where she will essay the role of IAS Officer.

Catherine Tresa has been the part of Sarrainodu, So Boyapati Srinu believes that she will be the right choice for the role.

On the work front, Catherine Tresa recently wrapped up Vijay Deverakonda’ forthcoming film, World Famous Lover, directed by Kranthi Madhav and now she is getting ready to join the sets of  Balakrishna’ next film, produced by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy.

The upcoming film commonly referred to as NBK 106, is expected to go on floors on 6th January. This film will  mark Catherine Tresa first collaboration with Balakrishna and second with Boyapati Srinu after Sarrainodu.

The sources say that Catherine Tresa will be essaying a strong female lead opposite Balakrishna. The story of this upcoming film touches upon contemporary politics. Some portion of it revolves around the elections and the political wars between parties with a dose of romance and action.
