Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy in his upcoming Tamil movie Bigil, which is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The makers are also going to release the movie in both Telugu states. Vijay starrer Bigil has been titled as Whistle in Telugu. Mahesh Koneru has acquired the Telugu version’s distribution rights and is going to release the Whistle in both Telugu states. Lady Superstar Nayantara is on the board to romance with Vijay in Whistle. While the movie lovers can’t wait to see Thalapathy Vijay on the big screen, the makers released the Telugu poster of the film- Whistle.
Oscar-winning musician, AR Rahman released the Telugu poster of the film. Apart from lead pair- Vijay and Nayantara, the movie also has Kathir, Daniel Balaji, Anand Raj, and Varsha Bollamma in supporting roles.
Vijay starrer Bigil/ Whistle is a sports drama in which Vijay will be seen as a women’s football coach and an aged gangster. The movie is helmed by Atlee and is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment whereas it has the music by AR Rahman. The movie is slated to hit the theaters on the occasion of Diwali.
Whistle was shot in a specially-erected football stadium set at EVP Studios in Chennai. Recently Vijay was in the news headlines when he gifted gold rings to his 300 plus crew.
