Veteran Telugu actor Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao passed away yesterday evening ie. 17th May 2019 in a private hospital in Hyderabad. The 73-year-old had been suffering from some health issues for the past few days which resulted in his demise. He has been the part of about 850 movies in a variety of roles, including that of a lead actor. He played pivotal roles in films such as Bombay and Minsara Kanavu in Tamil
The sources say that Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao died at 6:16 pm following a cardiac arrest. He was admitted to the hospital on 15th May 2019.
Rallapalli started his acting career in theater at a very young age and subsequently entered films. He had also worked as a staff artiste in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
He was a five-time winner of the prestigious Nandi award in undivided Andhra Pradesh, including the Nandi Award for Best Actor in 1976 for the National Award winning film Oorummadi Brathukulu, the Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian in 1986, and the Nandi Award for Best Supporting actor – Television for Ganapathi.
Rallapalli Venkata Narasimha Rao’ last movie was Natural star Nani starrer Bale Bale Magadivoy. His death is a big loss for Tollywood.
