Minus Points:

· Slow Narration

Performance: Once again Samantha steals the show with her wonderful performance. She has proved with her performance that she is a versatile actress. Her performance is Majili needs lot of applause. Naga Chaitanya has got his career best author backed role and he also delivered his best performance. Divyansha Kaushik as Anshu is fine. Her glamour show grabs several eyeballs. Rao Ramesh in the role of Samantha’ father-in-law is good. Rest of the cast performs accordingly.

Technical: The story of Majili is very interesting. Shiva Nirvana handled the story and scenes very well. The dialogues are superb and the screenplay of the film is interesting. Background score is noteworthy. Cinematography by Vishnu Sharma is superb and the film has some fantastic visuals. The editing by Prawin Pudi is good. The Art department has done a superb job. The production values are good. Majili is at his best in technical department. One of major drawback of the film is slow narration.

Analysis: In the first half of Majili, the director Shiva Niravan keeps the audience hooked to the screen and the audiences become emotional when the climax is revealed. First half is realistic and the second half is heavy with sentiment. The unreal twist that happens in Dehradun is one of the major highlight of Majili.
