Rakul Preet Singh hikes remuneration It is known news that Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing the female lead in upcoming movie Manmadhudu 2 in which Akkineni Nagarjuna is playing the lead role. The movie has been launched yesterday with formal pooja ceremony. Amala Akkineni and Naga Chaitanya attended the event as Chief guest. Now according to the latest update, Rakul Preet Singh has hiked her remuneration and she is charging a bomb for Manmadhudu 2. The sources say that Rakul Preet Singh is demanding about Rs. 2 Cr as the remuneration, which is higher than her normal pay. But the makers are ready to pay huge amount to Rakul Preet Singh.

Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder in which she played the female lead. She has been staying away from Telugu film Industry for more than a year and is currently struggling for filmy offers but finally she hit a jackpot with Manmadhudu 2.

Chaitan Bharadwaj of RX100 fame will compose the music whereas M Sukumar will handle the cinematography. Apart from Rakul Preet Singh and Nagarjuna, the film has other stars like Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Nasser, Rao Ramesh, Jhansi and Devadarshini in supporting roles. The movie will be directed by Rahul Ravindran and bankrolled under the banner of Annapurna Studios. The source revealed that Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing the role of Nagarjuna’s wife in this upcoming film Manmadhudu 2.

Apart from Manmadhudu 2, Akkineni Nagarjuna will be next seen in Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham, a period drama directed by Priyadarshan.
