On Tuesday, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to a national news channel and said, “I am not aware of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) is trying to cobble up a Federal Front.”
Narendra Modi also attacked on Mahakutami alliance of the Congress, the TDP and other parties and said, “I wonder how could parties join hands against one individual? He added, “The People do not support such kind of politics.” Narendra Modi asked, “Why Mahakutami is being formed by Congress and other parties. Why are they not trying to solve the problem of people? Instead of doing this they are targeting me.”
Narendra Modi has said he has no idea about KCR’s Federal Front and such information has not come to his notice till now.
PM Modi also responded on the recent performance of BJP (Bhartiya Janatha Party) in the 5 states Assembly elections. He said that neither anyone nor BJP boasted a win in Telangana elections and clarified that BJP lost in Chattisgarh. Further, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that BJP is not defeated but hung Assemblies have come in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan and expressed that this is the result of incumbency due to 15 yeas rule of BJP in these states.
On the other-side, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu asked KCR, “Are you meeting Narendra Modi to discuss the state’s issues or to brief him (on the proposed front)?”
On Wednesday, The Telangana Chief Minister called on Modi in New Delhi. Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that there was no scope for a third front in the country. Naidu said, “There are only two fronts. The BJP is the anchor for one front and Congress is the anchor for the other front”
