A Challenging Role for Rakul Preet SinghRakul Preet Singh, who has shared the screen space with number of top stars like Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and other in Telugu movies, is currently busy in her upcoming Tamil movie, in which Shiva Karthikeyan is playing the lead role. It is a science fiction and according to the latest update, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the role of an astronomer. Rakul Preet Singh is feeling that she has accepted a challenging but interesting role.

Rakul Preet Singh and Shiva Karthikeyan starrer is being helmed by Ravi Kumar, known for helming the science fiction comedy Indru Netru Naalai and is produced by RD Raja’s 24AM Studios as a bi-lingual project in Tamil and Telugu. Recently during the media interaction Shiva Karthikeyan said,  “It is true that I’m doing a science fiction film and we will make sure it will appeal to all kinds of audiences.”  The film will have music by double Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman.

The movie also marks the return of popular Bollywood actress Isha Kopikkar to Tamil cinema in an important role after 17 years. Isha Kopikkar was last seen in Vijayakanth’s Narasimha. Apart from them, the film has other stars like Bhanupriya, Yogi Babu, and Karunakaran in supporting roles.

 In Tollywood, Rakul Preet Singh  has been the part of several commercially successful films like Venkatadri Express, Current Theega,  Nannaku Prematho, Sarrainodu, Dhruva, Rarandoi Veduka Chudham, Spyder and Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and she has established herself as one of the leading actresses in Telugu Cinema.

 Rakul Preet Singh will be seen playing the role of late actress Sridevi in NTR biopic, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the role of his father, actor and late CM of Andhra Pradesh.

 In Bollywood, Rakul Preet Singh is romancing with Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 26 April 2019.
