The film reportedly has a worldwide theatricals value of Rs 27 Cr. With last week’s releases ‘Goodachari’ and ‘Chi La Sow’ having good runs in their second week too due to good word of mouth, ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ has tough competition to face. Unlike last week’s films, Satish’s film opened with lukewarm reviews from both critics and the audience. The film has managed to earn Rs 3.18 Cr for its distributors on day one, against the Rs 27 Cr they shelled out. While the film did manage to break the record of Nithiin’s ‘LIE’, which had raked in Rs 5.20 Cr gross on its opening day, it did not break that of his last release ‘Chal Mohan Ranga’, which raked in Rs 6.20 Cr gross.
